Julian Hernandez is a senior at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University. He attended Brooklyn College’s creative writing program in New York City before transferring to the journalism program at ASU. Hernandez has reported on the music community across Arizona and has interned at the Arizona Republic, the Phoenix New Times and NBC News.

Hernandez is originally from Queens, New York, and enjoys the changing of seasons. When not reading the news, he enjoys going to punk and hardcore shows, bicycling, skateboarding and getting lost in the pages of history.
