Producer - Morning Edition

Bridget Dowd is a former KJZZ news intern who joined the station as a weekend reporter in 2017. She graduated from Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication in May 2018.
Dowd fell in love with radio during her freshman year of college, after joining Blaze Radio, ASU’s student-run radio station. While there, she served as assistant news director, then news director and, finally, station manager.

After a brief stint at NBC’s "Today Show," she has returned to Arizona to produce Morning Edition at KJZZ.

Dowd grew up in the Pacific Northwest, but came to Arizona for college. She has special interests in disability journalism and crime reporting.

In her spare time, she’s likely to be surrounded by cats or indulging in her true-crime obsession.
